PC-11® is a white, marine grade paste epoxy that bonds and cures, wet, dry and underwater. PC-11® is a simple 1:1 mix. PC-11® allows about 30 minutes of working time and cures for service in 12-24 hours. The epoxy can be shaped and molded and machined and painted after cured. PC-11® is your choice when extra flexibility is needed; you are bonding to a wet or underwater surface or where the white color is more advantageous. Bonds to unlike surfaces.
  • Marine grade (cures wet/dry or underwater)
  • White epoxy paste
  • Multi purpose paste epoxy that bonds to most surfaces
  • Non sag non drip makes vertical and overhead applications possible
  • Ample working time for large and critical jobs
  • Great for: swimming pools, hot tubs, aquariums, toilets and more

Description:
PC-11® was formulated as a true marine epoxy, allowing users to bond to wet, dry and fully submerged substrates. PC-11® formulation provides extended working time, for large and critical jobs, which allows the user to reposition work or make changes. High “wet grab” or tack of PC-11® makes overhead and sidewall work easy without drip or sag. PC-11® demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt, and fresh water.
Bonds most everything to anything.
***Note: PC-11® will not bond to wax paper, Teflon®, Polyethylene, and some other plastics. There are hundreds of plastics in thousands of combinations. Test a small area when in doubt.

Mixing Tips:
In cold or cool temperatures, place PC-11® containers near heat prior to using. PC-11® mixes and spreads easier at 80°F than at 40 F. Any clean smooth flat surface is an excellent surface for mixing and working. A small putty knife or flexible artist spatula are great tools for mixing and applying PC-11®.

Denatured alcohol is excellent for smoothing applied PC-11®. Also use Denatured alcohol to clean surfaces before applying.

***Note: Most epoxies are temperature sensitive and will cure faster at higher temperatures and slower at cooler temperatures. Speed cure with artificial heat.

Directions:
Using separate knives to remove amount needed, mix equal parts A (white) and B (pale blue) on a flat clean surface until uniform color is achieved. Surfaces to be bonded must be free of dirt, oil, rust, ect. Denatured alcohol can be used to prep the surface. For best results, rough up the surface PC-11® will be bonding to. Normally, no vice or clamp needed. Prop or tape heavy objects to a wall or ceiling.

Applications:
Apply PC-11® in any thickness to both sides of surface and bring together firmly. Be careful to insure that ample PC-11® remains between the contact surfaces. Use screen wire or fiberglass cloth to reinforce large voids and gaps.

After cure: Paint Drill, Machine, Sand, File, Tap, or Saw.

PC-11® has hundreds if not thousands of uses.

  • As Adhesive: Wood, Metal (all types), Glass, Brick, Block, Rubber, Concrete, Stone, Slate, Fiberglass, tile, and more in any and all combinations.
  • As Sealant: Oil, Gas, Water Tanks, Cellar Cracks, Pressure Tanks, and Plumbing Leaks.
  • As a Filler: Holes, Castings, Patterns, Molds, Voids, Welds, and much more.

How to tint PC-11®; Critical Applications, TEST FIRST!
Pigments come in three forms: powder, paste, and liquid.
Powder pigments are by far the pigment type of choice. Powder pigment is preferred because less is needed to reach desired color.
Paste pigments are an option if powders are not available. With paste pigments bold colors may not be achieved. DO NOT exceed more than 5% volume of combined A(white) and B(pale blue). More than 5% will affect the integrity of the chemical properties of PC-11® and is not recommended.
Liquid pigments are not recommended (example – food dye).
1. Measure equal amounts of part A (white) and part B (pale blue).
2. Mix the pigment into part A (white) until preferred color is achieved. Exact color matching is difficult and may require assorted pigment colors.
3. Combine part A with part B when the desired color is reached.

Submerged Applications
For underwater, allow mixed PC-11® time to thicken up slightly before attempting to attach underwater. At 70°F wait roughly 15-20 minutes.
*** Please note again: Most epoxies are temperature sensitive and will cure faster at higher temperatures and slower at cooler temperatures.
