Download PC-CLEAR™ Clear Liquid B MSDS
Description:
PC-Clear™ is a completely clear liquid epoxy. PC-Clear™ is formulated to remain clear during and after its curing time. PC-Clear™ is very durable and flexible making it unlike many liquid epoxies.
If disguising a repair or the absence of color is needed, PC-Clear™ is your product of choice.
PC-Clear™ demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt, and fresh water.
Bonds most everything to anything.
***Note: PC-Clear™ will not bond to wax paper, Teflon®, Polyethylene, and some other plastics. There are hundreds of plastics in thousands of combinations. Test a small area when in doubt.
Mixing Tips:
Any clean smooth flat surface is an excellent surface for mixing and working from. A small putty knife or flexible artist spatula are great tools for mixing and applying PC-Clear™.
Use Denatured alcohol to clean surfaces before applying. Also Denatured alcohol is great for cleaning tools after work is completed.
Surfaces to be bonded must be free of dirt, oil, rust, etc. Denatured alcohol can be used to prep the surface. For best results, rough up the surface to be bonded. After mixing: PC Clear will run or drip for a few minutes. Support or Clamping might be needed during work time (4 minutes).
***Note: Most epoxies are temperature sensitive and will cure faster at higher temperatures and slower at cooler temperatures. Speed cure with artificial heat.
