Description:
PC-Crete™ is a hand moldable putty epoxy designed for quick emergency-type repairs. PC-Crete™ is formulated with real aggregate to look and feel like concrete. Cut, mix and apply. PC-Crete™ allows a working time of about 3 minutes and cures for service in 60 minutes.
Repair: Masonry, statues, birdbaths, steps, curbs and much more.
***Note: PC-Crete™ will not bond to wax paper, Teflon®, Polyethylene, and some other plastics. There are hundreds of plastics in thousands of combination. Test a small area when in doubt.
Mixing:
Cut or twist off desired amount of epoxy. Mix by kneading putty with fingers until a uniform color is achieved. For ease of mixing warm putty to room temperature or above. Powder on hands (corn starch, baby powder) is helpful to minimize sticky epoxy contact before hardening begins.
*** Use latex gloves to avoid any issues.
Tips:
For best results, surface should be cleaned and free of rust, dust, and oil. Solvents such as denatured alcohol can be used to remove most contaminants. Whenever possible, lightly sand or rough up the surface to improve adhesion. For a smooth, finished surface, hand rub with wet finger or cloth prior to cure. Denatured alcohol is excellent for smoothing, shaping, and forming of putty epoxy. PC Crete™ cures well even at cold temperatures (40°F). PC Crete™ is supplied in premeasured sticks. The texture of the putty is such that it is slightly tacky but does not stick aggressively to fingers. The putty holds its shape well and can be used in vertical and overhead applications.
Packaging:
Wrapped in Polyethylene film and protected on the ends with aluminum labels, the stick is doubly protected in an air tight clear plastic cylinder. The remaining portion of unused putty can be saved by placing the aluminum labels on the exposed end and put back into the cylinder.
