Sashco TimberBright™ – Any Species. One Effective Clean.
TimberBright is a concentrated wood cleaner that removes mold, mildew and algae and dissolves everyday surface grime like pollen, dust and bird droppings, leaving a fresh, clean surface. It works on any wood species, finished or unfinished, and is also safe on metal, stone, brick, vinyl and concrete.
Why use TimberBright?
- Bio-enzyme cleaning: enzymes surround, slightly dissolve and lift off dirt, pollen, mold and algae without etching the surface underneath
- Any species: won't discolor high-tannin woods like Cedar or Redwood
- No harsh acids or bleach: won't etch surfaces or keep breaking down wood fibers over time
- Plant safe when properly mixed and rinsed
- No rinse on interiors at a 1:10 mix. Just wipe and you're done
- Interior & exterior use, on wood, stone, brick, vinyl and more
Mixing
- Exteriors: 1 part cleaner to 2 parts water, or as weak as 1:10, depending on how much cleaning you need
- Interiors: 1:10 (unless you can rinse thoroughly). No rinsing needed at this strength
Application
- Remove loose debris. Wet down surfaces and nearby plants with clean water (cover sensitive plants).
- Apply bottom to top with a brush or sprayer. Let it sit for 5–20 minutes.
- Scrub stubborn areas along the grain with a soft-wash brush.
- Rinse top to bottom with clean water (warm water works best).
- Let the wood dry 24–48 hours before staining or finishing. Check with a moisture meter.
Specs
- Coverage: 300–400 sq. ft. per gallon of mixed solution
- Application temps: 40°F – 90°F. Avoid direct sunlight
- Dwell time: 5 minutes minimum, 20 minutes maximum
- Dry time before coating: 24–48 hours
- pH 10–11 • Store between 50°F and 90°F, do not freeze
- Available in 1 gallon and 5 gallon concentrate
Note: TimberBright is a cleaner, not a brightener. It won't reverse gray or yellow UV damage. For UV-damaged wood, use Sashco CPR Log Cleaner & Brightener (not for Cedar or Redwood). Always test a small, hidden area first.
